Modern Colorful Basement

Modern Colorful Basement

Having already chosen paint colors for the upstairs of this modern home, the basement was the last room to be done. The dramatic paint colors were inspired by the clients’ already existing artwork. The white table and red chairs were chosen to ‘pop’ against the yellow and green walls, as were the three low tables grouped together in front of the blue wall. View Slideshow.

The clients wanted to better utilize space on their first floor. What was once a living room magically became the formal dining room through the use of metallic decorative painting on the walls, a stunning oversized silver mirror, and modern glass bubble chandeliers. An office became a darling playroom through color and fabric. The kitchen was redesigned to be more functional with a new island, a beautiful glass backsplash, and new pendant lighting. The family room received new furniture, lighting, wall color, and sumptuous velvet drapes. View Slideshow.

Modern Meets Traditional

Modern Meets Traditional

The Clients asked for a complete redesign of their great room. It needed to be relaxing, Contemporary, and stylish at the same time. The existing sofa upholstery was changed from orange to a slate blue color. Grommet hung drapes were added, along with new ceiling fans, lighting, bold colorful art, and polished white wood furniture accents. Accessories in the same bold greens and blues of the artwork completed the overall Contemporary look of the room. View Slideshow.

The starting point for color choice in this great room was the deep blue running through the kitchen’s granite countertops. From there the luxurious sectional sofa was chosen, as well as, the gorgeous custom made silk drapery and the sumptuous cream colored shag rug. Black and white photography, silver accessories, and red gladiolas complete the look. View Slideshow.

Sleek Modern Kitchen

Sleek Modern Kitchen

The clients knew that they wanted an updated, sleek, and Modern kitchen with high end stainless steel appliances. The back of the 1960’s brick fireplace faced out into the kitchen space. The clients wish was to pair the old brick with very modern and new materials. I helped them to choose the flooring, cabinets, lighting, countertops, and backsplash for their new and exciting kitchen. Additionally, I aided them in the design of the cabinet built in front of the brick wall for housing all of their entertaining needs. View Slideshow.

Beach Themed Bungalow

The Client asked for a “comfortable beach cottage” that he and his daughters could enjoy together. The challenge was all of the dark wood and lack of natural light. Creams, neutrals, and whites were paired with accents of blue and red paisleys to create an inviting cozy space. Artwork and accessories were added to create a “beach cottage” feel. View Slideshow.
